Amanda BuchananPeriod 6 Feature about Wedding For my feature for my wedding, I decided to focus on my honeymoon. As I said before in my wiki space, I think that a honeymoon is a very important part of the wedding. Although you don’t have to do as much planning and things for a honeymoon as you would with a wedding, you have a lot of pressure on where you want to spend your first week with your husband or wife. It may not be picking a dress color or figuring out what food you want on your menu, but a lot of people don’t realize that a honeymoon is more often times than not more expensive than the wedding itself. I mean yeah you don’t have to rent a hall, hire a DJ, or find the perfect photographer, but you do have to spend money on other very important things for a honeymoon. For one, new clothes. Everyone wants to purchase new clothes and new items before they go on a vacation. Now that you’re married, you don’t only have to purchase things for yourself, but for your significant other as well. Now that you are both going on to the pay roll, your honeymoon is a good way to practice financing your budget according to how much money you and your wife or husband spend. If I could pick where I would want my husband and I to travel to on our honeymoon, I would definitally have to pick the Atlantis resort in the Bahamas. Although things like Disney, California, ora cruise would be fun, I want a place where I can relax with my husband, all a lone, for the first time since we’ve been married. My parents went on their honeymoon to the Atlantis hotel in the Bahamas after they were married. I don’ t think they had as much fun as I would have, because they werethere when it was first built. It didn’t have the things like the Spa, the casino, or all of the pools that it has now. All it really had, was the beach. Which I’m sure was probably more than okay since the beaches in the Caribbean are white sand, blue water beaches. Also, the Atlantis has a water park, water slides, an aquarium, a casino, and many more things for us to enjoy. Also, if I’m taking the trip to the Bahamas, I want to do things that I normally wouldn’t get to do if I were to stay in the states. I want to go parasailing. Although parasailing isn’t something you can only find in other countries, I think that it would be a lot more fun because you would be able to look down on clear waters instead of greener water like you would in places such as Ocean City Maryland, and Virginia Beach. Also, I would want to swim with the dolphins. Ever since I went to Sea World when I was a little girl I’ve wanted to swim with the dolphins. I think that it would be very interesting, because every other person that I’ve seen that have swam with dolphins seemed to have had fun interacting with the animals, because it seems as if they are very friendly. Also, snorkeling would be something that seems as though it would be very fun.The water would be crystal clear, so it would be easy to make out what you were looking at in the water. Swimming around with all of the living creatures that inhabit the ocean would be very interesting as well. I picked the honeymoon for a feature of my honeymoon because that’s what I am looking forward to the most. I think that a honeymoon is an excellent way for you and your husband or wife to realize that you were meant for each other, and you deserve a chance to get away for just the two of you.
